The totals for the awarded starting 5 points for the Clippers game are way off. I hope someone fixes this since this is a competition.

    peace out,

Agreed daddy. Marty is in my starting five and for three pointers it says that four were made and eight were attempted. Uh - Marty made seven of eleven attempted. Glad to know I am not the only competitive person out there

Thank god someone else sees this too! For some reason everytime I find a glitch it seems as though I am the only one...LOL Geez, I am missing 50 points off mine and that makes a HUGE difference in my rankings.

I do love this site, but the maintenance needs to be better. Alot of things do not work right and now that the Starting 5 is a competition it is important that things click properly.

Also, and I have suggested this before...people should be able to swap out their starting 5 up until the end of the first quarter. I think this is fair and by that time you still really would not know who is going to have a super game and who is not. For example, B. Roy could tally 10 first quarter Starting 5 points and then have only 6 the rest of the game. The MAIN reason I suggest this is because of GAME TIME DECISIONS on who might or might not play in that evenings contest due to injuries. Yesterday I read every article up until game time and NOT ONE stated whether B. Roy would play or not play, so ya see where I am going with this...AND by the time I did find out he was playing, my time had expired on changing out my Starting 5.

    Does anyone agree with this?

I mean, this is a simple fix and with all the players getting healthy now, the Starting game will get way more competitive now since the "wealth" of points will be spread more evenly than they have been in the last few months. Before, when we only had an 8 man rotation, it was easy to have a 120+ point Starting 5 game, but now we won't see many of those anymore!

I know I seem way to serious about just a game, but I have been playing it almost since the start of this site and now there is a TV at stake!!!! LOL

    peace out,
    daddy

Hey guys, wanted to get you up to speed about issues with last night's game. The game feed from the league was having MAJOR issues... and still is having major issues. That is where the problem with the points from last night's Starting 5 stem from. I know, lame.... unfortunately, it looks like the site isn't doing it's job. I've got a call to the league, but this is an issue league wide. As far as editing your Starting 5 during the game. Daddy, i totally understand your point, but will respectively disagree. If someone is lighting it up during the game, you can't change that player in. That would be unfair for the people that may not have a chance. No other fantasy leagues allow you to edit (that I know of) after the game has begun. Right now it is on a timer, :15 mins before the game. We can look at making that closer... the problem is that tip-off doesn't happen exactly at 7pm, or 7:15pm. Therefore there needs to be a little buffer.

    Hi ya darbpuk!

Thanks for replying and letting us know you are on top of it. As far as my idea, maybe you aren't understanding. I do know there has to be a cutoff point naturally because if someone is lighting it up the whole game it would be very, very unfair to swap out later in the game...however up until the end of the first quarter is in my opinion a fair deal because as I said a player might start out on fire (such is the case with LA alot...LOL) and then go cold the rest of the game. Having the deadline at the end of the first quarter would allow people enough time to get the info of the "game-time lineups" and make the adjustment that they would have made had they known ahead of time.

Anyhow, I won't keep harping on that but I do feel it should be open for discussion amongst the participants to maybe improve by next season or so.

Yes, I noticed the feed was way off last night and chat was way behind, but there is nothing you can do if it is a league issue except wait it out :-)

Anyhow thank you again for taking the time to respond bro!

    peace out,
    daddy

Personally, I don't like the idea of being able to edit starting 5 after tip-off. Not very fair for people who are attending the games.

Thanks for the update on the glitches.
Note editing of the starting 5 must stop prior to tip off.  As a season ticket holder I would not then have the opportunity afforded others to edit my lineup if the edit time was extended.

Yes...see ticket season holders would be a problem without a doubt! But on a day to day basis...????
