    Via RealGM-
The Trail Blazers inquired with the Hawks about the availability of Jamal Crawford, reports the Oregonian.

The paper cited a Portland player and another source within the organization.

Don't like this move. Not only does Crawford want a huge extension, but we'd have to give up too much I believe. We had a spark bench guy in Bayless, but dealt him away. Outside of consistent minutes, both players play VERY similar. If we want to trade for a player whose primary role is to shoot, why not bring back Outlaw? He'd be an instant chemistry boost. I know we need bench help, but Craw is the type of player that brings teams over the top and I just don't think we are there yet. I'd like to buy low on a couple of younger players and see if we can turn them around. Not only would they come cheaper but their contracts wouldn't be as mammoth.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
