I think VINSANNITY would be a great aquisition ! That is if the blazers can get him on the cheap, and wouldnt
have to give up much , if anything at all ! He has the late game KILLER INSTINCT that the blazers might just be
    looking for !

Vice is great, but I am not sure he fits into this team. Vince requires the ball to be effective, so does Roy. I don't think a different SF is/should be the focus of this off season. If anything you go after the true starter PG, or you stand pat. Either one is an effective call. I think this team as is has a lot to offer next season as long as they can stay healthy. If they do go after somebody, it has to be someone that can teach a younger Blazer PG the ropes to assure longevity of their success.

Ok just wanna throw this out there because I know a lot of people have written the draft off but what we trade down just a hair from like 24 to 19th according to most draft projections and grab BJ Mullens(could be mispelled). We have a lot of fire power on the second unit with Rudy maybe Travis and hopefully Bayless and maybe Oden so he a defensive 7 footer who finishs strong and rebounds good. He young has a way to go and will not complain about small minutes as he did not make a whole lot of noise in college. I know a lot of people have this grand idea of some amazing backup power forward that can bang and I think this kid will be it especially under the schooling of ODEN LA AND JP. You have two bangers and a finesse man he should be well rounded and behind LA he will not get a lot of minutes and would work at center if needed because that is his true position. So respond on this or other draft possibilities or ideas of free agents for backup PF or the more popular topis's PG wjicj I think dump Sergio promote Bayless all good SF let the three battle it out trade who does not fit awesome my personal opinion Travis goes. Wanna hear realistic stuff gives me something to do waiting on draft and summer league and in between playoff games so make it good please.

I think the draft is only as deep as the team is shallow. If you don't have a deep bench, then this draft could be good because there are a lot of players at about the same skill level. Unfortunately, if your bench is deep, like Portland, the only players that would be any benefit are in the lottery. I don't think a team like Portland could get anybody for the team that is better than what they already have unless they were to trade draft picks along with other assets in order to get really high. I think that free-agents and player/player trades are going to be KP's bread and butter this year. We may be in the lottery at some point, but I bet it will be to get a pick that will provide us with some serious trade leverage. This will not be a boring or non-produvtive draft for Portland, but I almost (key word almost) guarantee that the newest additions to the Blazer roster will have already played for a team in the NBA. Names I wouldn't be surprised to see tossed around..... Mike Conelley, Steve Nash, Rony Turiaf, Desagana Diop, Borris Diaw and possibly Heinrich. I actually would welcome Turiaf because he reminds me a lot of the Rasta Monsta. He's a great human and a hard worker, and he is willing to come off the bench. He works hard to get rebounds and he can bang in the paint.

Be rest assured that whatever moves and trades that Kevin Pritchard might make ,will definently come
out of no where ,and from a team or teams we least expect ! Expect Kevin Pritchard to really surprise
    us this off season !

Yeah, betting on what KP will do is like betting against the house at a casino. All the odds and common sense would suggest "Steve Nash, Vince Carter," but with KP, the standard never applies. That is how so many have fell victim to his awesomeness. They look at what he is offering and they see themselves coming out on top. It's like KP has insider trading on NBA talent (which is impossible by the way since talents are HUMAN).

Bayless and Oden can be the future but neither will be a solid force next season. With Joel and LMA around we can look for a stop gap for the inside man. I think Oden will be ready by 2010=2011 season (assuming he can stay healthy). But Bayless is a longer project that will take quite some time, especially with noone to teach him all the aspects of the PG position on the field. I think we should look to bring Kidd to town. I would be delighted to have him here. Roy is more of a SG so we need a SF to come in and compete with Webster. Looking at his play-off performance Hedo is that man IMO. He's likely to leave for his last contract and we can offer a good amount. He has more experience than any player on our roster and played at a high level for Kings and Spurs before leading Orlando to their current position. About the inside man, I'm not sure. I would like to see Shaq come in. He's a nice guy to have on the roster and still a very big force. Of course we cannot land all three, but if we manage to bring in 2 of them (Kidd and Hedo would be my choice) western finals are not far away next season. We already have a great bench that helps in all aspects. Sergio is likely gone so I expect Bayless to get involved more.

I just don't get why people have against Blake now? He had an amazing season this year! Why can't he be that person to groom Bayless for now instead of a washed up, half-productive version of Jason Kidd who will cost way too much in salary? He wasn't the only one that didn't step up in the Playoffs. As far as Hedo goes, he has been playing more the PF position this year? As far as Shaq goes, I don't trust him to not be achey in the colder weather. I really think that if he was brought here you sould be wasting your money. At this stage in his career and with the beating his body has taken over the years, this would be a bad place for him. I think you all are underestimating the power of climate on an aging NBA body. I'm not saying I am right on everything, I just see those particular moves (Kidd and Shaq) blowing up BIGTIME in Portlad's face if they were to get done. Either way, I am really anxious to see the end result of what DOES/DOEN'T get done over the summer.

In terms of the whole season Blake has been very solid. He led the team nicely but playoffs showed that we need a little more from him. Unless the player has exceptional talent, a PG must be able to score to be successful. Blake is at a level to be a great backup PG and a very nice starting PG but he's not the man to get us to where we want to go. He doesn't have the defense or the scoring power.

On 5/25/09 I said I would like to see Turiaf in a Blazer uniform as a back up PF. On Wednesday 06/10/09 Brian Wheeler announced that Brandon Roy echoed those sentiments. How awesome would that be? Batum and Turiaf in the second unit. The French Revolution. If B-Roy has expressed this openly to KP, you know that he will try and get it done. With all Portland has to offer without really losing a whole lot, that could be an amazing opportunity. GS needs a PG and a PF that can keep up with their Up-Tempo style. They could also use some draft picks. Maybe Portland can trade up in the draft to make trading for Turiaf more appealing to the Warriors.
